Performance Calibration is a process through which managers (typically within a department or function) come together to discuss the performance of employees and to achieve agreement on their performance appraisal ratings. The process ensures a fair and objective performance appraisal for each employee in relation to others in similar roles and/or job levels as Managers apply consistent standards to all employees.
