How to make the most out of exhibiting at a virtual event
Whilst we are extremely excited to be hosting an event that brings the customer engagement community together, we understand it’s just not quite the same as hosting an exhibitor stand and physically meeting and dare we say shaking hands with potential customers.
Call & Contact Centre Virtual, collocated with C+UX & SC+CB Virtual provides an online platform that celebrates the innovations and developments in customer engagement. Delegates are invited to explore and compare the solutions to find the best fit that matches their business needs. Having said this, we have come up with a few useful tips to help you ensure your future customers know what you do:
Tips for before the eventTip 1
Use the banner on your virtual booth as a “call to action” rather than branding. Create adverts promoting your seminar session, competition or a demo. Recommended size is 1000w x 400h and the format should be PNG, JPEG or can also be a gif.
Tip 2
Host a competition, prize draw or giveaway and shout about it! There is a public lobby chat where you can make announcements to the whole platform thought out the 2 days. Also, tell us what your plans are and we’ll help you to promote it using our channels.
Tip 3
Upload collateral to your stand to that delegates have all the information they need about your services, especially an engaging video and media packs.
Tip 4
Engage in pre event marketing. Utilising the exhibitor pack there are a range of resources to help you reach out to your own community including emails, press releases and banners. inviting customers and prospects to your booth/seminar. Harness the power of social media and tag us in your social posts to reach our community also and we will like, share and retweet your content. Using the hashtag #CCCvirtual20 also means that your tweets will appear in the event lobby.
Tip 5
Brief your sales team on how they can initiate a virtual conversation – steer away from “Can I help you”!
Tips for during the eventTip 1
Regularly check on the platform to see if you have delegates on your booth. You can then start a chat with them or invite them to a demo.
Tip 2
Utilise the Networking area and actively engage with customers and prospects.
Tip 3
Remember the hashtag #CCCvirtual20 so that your tweets appear in the event lobby.
We hope you are excited as we are to launch our very first virtual event and look forward to connecting with the customer engagement community again! Virtually see you on the 10th & 11th November.
