Seven years ago, Thomas was tasked by CEO Mike Burkland and President/CRO Dan Burkland to replicate this success in EMEA and internationally through a partner-centric strategy.
Thomas built an ecosystem outside the US to co-sell, deploy, and support customers, significantly increasing the client base. This strategy proved highly successful, with over 90% of new business in EMEA coming through partners and the international market contributing over 20% to Five9’s global seat count.
Starting as employee number three outside the US, Thomas has seen Five9 grow to over 1,000 employees internationally and nearly 3,000 globally.
